About the artist
Cassielelolea is an emerging artist based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia known for her expressive works that merge fluid watercolour techniques with delicate ink work. Her pieces often explore the balance between abstraction and form, capturing fleeting impressions of nature, movement, and emotion.

Cassie’s works have been exhibited in shows across Malaysia, including renowned venues like Galeri Puteh, Hin Bus Depot, and Temu House. In 2021, she was selected for the George Town Festival artist residency, and she has received the Visual Art Program grant from Cendana Malaysia in year 2022.

In 2020, Cassie founded Le Art Shop, an online art supply store tailored specifically for urban sketchers and traveling artists. Through this venture, she supports fellow creatives in their pursuit of capturing life as it happens. Cassie also regularly hosts life drawing sessions, encouraging more people to engage with the practice of drawing from observation and experience the joy of creating art in real time.
Cassie’s work is created to evoke quiet reflection, emotion, and connection — inviting viewers to pause and find beauty in subtle marks, natural rhythms, and the imperfect edges of life.
